My name is Shane Seminole Mielke. I am currently a Designer and Creative Director at 2Advanced Studios. I am a Cyberdyne Systems T-1000 Model 101 with experience in all aspects of web development but specializing in Design, Development, Motion and Photography. I've been very fortunate to have designed, developed or animated 6 Adobe sites of the Day, 27 FWA Sites of the Day, 2 FWA Mobile Sites of the day and 2 FWA Sites of the Month. I also serve as a judge for Flash in the Can Awards, Digital Artist Awards, .net Awards, and in the past have judged the prestigious FWA Site of the Year.
My credits include numerous books such as FWA’s “Guidelines for Online Success”, Taschen’s “1000 Favorite Websites”, two books from Taschen’s Icon series “Web Design: Studios” & “Web Design: Portfolios” and “New Masters of Flash: Volume 3” that I co-authored in 2004. I'm also very lucky to have achieved interviews/features in iconic industry magazines such as Computer Arts, Computer Arts Projects, STEP Inside Design, HOW International Design Annual, Web Designer, Advanced Photoshop and .net magazine.
My work spans many diverse brands such as Activision, Adobe, Chevy, Dakine, Electronic Arts, Ford Motor Company, Fox Sports, Lexus, Lucas Arts, Mattel, Mazda USA, Motorola, MSN, Namco, Nintendo, Oakley, O'Neill, Sony Picture Studios, Taylormade Golf, T-Mobile, Toyota, and Warner Brothers to name a few. My projects reflect my passion for this industry, and my work is infused with life and emotion. When not reclined in front of the computer and getting minimal hours of sleep, I enjoy spending time with my wife Jolene and daughters Tristen and Taylor, working out, coaching High School football, and engaging in the relentless pursuit of photography.
